New Features
🏷️ Tags
Posts on the site now feature tags. When you read each post, you can see a list of subject tags associated with the post. Clicking on those tags will now take you to All Posts filtered by the tag you clicked.
📖 Under the hood, these are dynamically parsed from the post's metadata. Each post is written in markdown with a yaml header for its metadata. This metadata determines things like the title, description (the one you see in list view), date, tags, etc.
📰 RSS
Call me old-fashioned, but I love a good RSS feed. I miss the days when all your favorite sites had their own RSS button that you could copy into your aggregator and build your own news feed. RSS isn't completely dead (it's mostly held up by podcasting at this point), and I still use it for sites I like that support it, so I decided to add one here.
Building a dynamic RSS feed from source was a fun challenge. I learned a lot, and I think it turned out pretty nice. It supports all the features that make sense at the moment, and it appears to work great with FreshRSS, my preferred aggregator.
